Eligibility for Ews Certificate Delhi
The People who are not covered under the Reservation Like OBC/SC/ST are eligible to apply for EWS Certificate.
- Annual income of family should not be more than ₹8Lacs
- The property owned by the Family of applicant in different places/locations/cities will be summed together for EWS certificate
- Should not have agricultural Land more than 1.5 acres or above
- Should not have Residential area of more than 1000sq.ft(Flat area)
- Residential Plot 100sq. yard or more (plot area) should be notified in municipalities
Documents Required For Ews Certificate
The applicant should have all the required documents and fulfill eligibility criteria in order to be eligible for an EWS certificate. The applicant should have the following documents for EWS Certificate:-
- Income Certificate
- Aadhar card
- Pan Card
- Caste certificate
- Ration Card (BPL)
- Bank Statement
- Passport size Photograph
- Affidavit/Self Declaration
if the Applicant is Student or Non-earning Applicant should use bank statement of Guardian of 3years {ITR and Bank statements are substitutes to each other anyone can be used}. Rent affidavit will be required If the applicant lives on Rent/Tenet.Fathers/mother Aadhar may be Required so do carry a copy of the Documents.
How to Apply For EWS Certificate Delhi
Step1:Download the EWS Application from Here Form number 1
Step2:Now, Take Print out of the Application form
Step3:]Fill the Personal Information of the Applicant and Attach a Photograph
Step4:Download the Form 2 from Below
Step5:Fill the Information like Personal Details, Family details, Address etc
The candidate will have to sign on the Photograph or as Instructed by the Officer at tehsil
Step6:Attach all the Documents
Step7:Visit the SDM office
Step8:Submit the Form
Fee
The Applicant does not have to pay any fee or charge for an EWS certificate. Although Stamp fee may be charged by the Officials
Validity of EWS Certificate
The EWS certificate is not valid for Lifetime. it is 6months- 1years.
EWS Certificate Allotment Duration
After the Application form is submitted to the SDM’s office. All the information will be verified and the documents will be Cross-checked By the Officer and All procedures might take few days 15days.
Points to Remember
- The applicant shall visit SDM office with all the Original Documents and Affidavit.
- Applicant should provide a valid mobile number because update regarding the EWS Certificate will be sent on mobile number via sms.
- The applicant should provide all Valid Documents otherwise legal action may be taken
- Applicant are advised to Keep Reference number safe for future reference.
- After submitting the Application form the Candidate will get an Approx. date on which they can visit the SDM office and Collect their Certificate.
